I worked with Andrey on a radical redesign and modernization of our company's flagship software. Although many of the technologies we used were new to me, Andrey had a great mastery of these new frameworks, and played a pivotal role in the development of this product.
Acting as the technical expert, Andrey was able to architect the new software from the ground up was invaluable in implementing both the software itself and it's surrounding infrastructure (a comprehensive build system and source control). He also displayed great leadership and patience in instructing newer developers in all aspects of the project.

I have known Andrey since 2004. He is a very knowledgeable senior-level software engineering professional with a lot of experience in .NET technologies. He is very good at quickly figuring out what the application domain problem at hand is really about. As the result, he builds proper and effective solutions to these problems. His designs naturally evolve from the problems being solved. Hence, they are easy to follow since the introduced models fit the problem very well. His code is of high quality and very maintainable.
I worked with Andrey at MS MediaCenter TV Quality team. Andrey was leaving for another assignment after his one-year contract was about to expire. During the contract Andrey led architecture, design and implementation of a distributed message based telemetry system built around MSMQ and XML. By the time I was interviewed by Andrey as his replacement the system infrastructure was well established and worked well. The interview was a good balance between attempt to test depth and width of my experience and skills on one hand and realistic problems to tackle during limited time scheduled for the interview. During the next two weeks of transition Andrey did an excellent job of knowledge transfer. By the time Andrey left the team, he ensured that project was easy to maintain and extend.
I would strongly recommend Andrey and would definitely like to work with him in the future.
